BIG PINEY – The Big Piney Library invited local bakers, crafters, artists and entrepreneurs to join its first-ever South County Market on first Saturdays, with the first one taking place Saturday, Nov. 4, in its community room.
Library manager Tawnya Miller put out the invites and the room was filled with everything from homemade breads, cookies and cinnamon rolls, flashy baubles, handmade jewelry, fun journals, rag rugs, churro cheesecake, hand-turned wood pieces – and even a table of cacti and air plants.
Browsers came through to take a look at the goods, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
