The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 208 calls from June 26 to July 2, including a suicidal person, fives crashes, one search and rescue, 10 livestock problems, 21 citizen assists, four medical emergencies, two fires, 17 suspicious incidents, two strokes, 29 urinalyses and 41 vehicle identification number inspections. The SCSO was open Monday and closed Tuesday for July Fourth.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 208 calls from June 26 to July 2, including a suicidal person, fives crashes, one search and rescue, 10 livestock problems, 21 citizen assists, four medical emergencies, two fires, 17 suspicious incidents, two strokes, 29 urinalyses and 41 vehicle identification number inspections. June 26

At 12:16 a.m., a person on Pine Street was arrested for DUI.

At 9:30 a.m., someone found a bag of clothes in front of Ridley’s.

At 9:55 a.m., a person was having a stroke.

At 10:13 a.m., a detective ran an instant background check to release a firearm.

At 10:28 a.m., a counselor was concerned about a person’s welfare.

At 11:14 a.m., a 911 call was not suspicious.

At 12:14 p.m., a citizen asked if anyone called with information about a hit-and-run.

At 12:53 p.m., a woman’s new phone instantly called 911; it was not an emergency.

At 7:46 p.m., a maroon Subaru hatchback cut off another driver.

At 8:11 p.m., a citizen had questions about a previous incident.

At 10:09 p.m., a UPS truck overturned on Highway 191 after veering to avoid an elk.

At 10:53 p.m., a person was having a stroke.

June 27

At 1:22 a.m., a person was bleeding internally.

At 4:26 a.m., a woman parked off the road was cited for marijuana possession.

At 4:59 a.m., a suspicious 911 was accidental.

At 9:07 a.m., a male inmate was taken to the clinic.

At 10:58 a.m., a white Chevy truck pulling a camper decided to camp in town.

At 11:36 a.m., Lincoln County requested Sublette EMS.

At 12:42 p.m., a deputy helped a weak patient.

At 1:43 p.m., a deputy was at Department of Family Services.

At 1:47 p.m., a woman called with information for a detective.

At 2:50 p.m., a caller complained about a reckless blue Chevy driver.

At 3:10 p.m., a suspicious but accidental 911 call came from the Shute Creek helium plant.

At 3:56 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 4:12 p.m., a suspicious but accidental 911 call came from near Fontenelle.

At 5:10 p.m., a suspicious 911 call wasn’t an emergency.

At 5:16 p.m., a man asked for a civil standby.

At 5:20 p.m., a man said he was trying to pack up and stay somewhere else.

At 5:50 p.m., a man reported smashed taillights.

June 28
At 4:33 a.m., a person was having a heart attack.

At 7:32 a.m., a cow moose with two calves was trying to cross the highway in heavy traffic.

At 7:49 a.m., a man with a DUI asked if he could drive.

At 10:48 a.m., someone vandalized new BLM campground toilets and shot out windows.

At 10:58 a.m., a woman thought a man in the park was suspicious.

At 11:38 a.m., a man’s wheelchair died in an intersection; people pushed it out of the street but couldn’t get it started.

At 2:21 p.m., a rancher asked a deputy to observe someone tearing out an irrigation system that is part of a legal case.

At 3:30 p.m., an accidental 911 call came from someone driving on a washboard road.

At 3:44 p.m., a detective requested a search warrant.

At 6:17 p.m., a Wyoming Game and Fish employee was checking out litter that might attract bears. The homeowner cleaned it up.

At 7:19 p.m., a suspicious but accidental call came from someone camping in the desert.

At 8:58 p.m., a person was having a stroke.

June 29

At 9:17 a.m., a rancher planned to move about 90 cattle down the highway.

At 10:36 a.m., a woman dropped off some scam mail.

At 11:01 a.m., a person fainted and fell.

At 11:17 a.m., someone parked and jumped a ranch fence.

At 12:28 p.m., a man arrested for driving on a suspended license asked how to get his license to get a state ID card. The SCSO couldn’t help him.

At 12:30 p.m., animal control dropped off traps for someone with cat problems.

At 12:48 p.m., an older tan Cadillac dragging a chain pulled into a woman’s driveway and took off.

At 2:08 p.m., a man signing a lease for a trailer found the door bolted.

At 5:08 p.m., a woman filed a report about her camper’s repossession.

At 6:15 p.m., a woman reported a man riding a bike and looking in their windows; he thought the house was vacant.

At 8:27 p.m., a suspicious man set out balloons, fishing poles and hula hoops and told kids he’d teach them to fish.

At 8:48 p.m., a deputy helped a person who fell.

June 30

At 2:21 a.m., a suspicious 911 call came in with no response.

At 7:22 a.m., a rancher moving cows needed traffic control on Paradise Road.

At 8:48 a.m., a trailer had to be removed from the Pinedale Rodeo Grounds.

At 8:48 a.m., a drunk person drove off in a white Chevy truck.

At 9:02 a.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 10:35 a.m., a Chevy truck lost its four-wheeler ramp in the road.

At 11:20 a.m., a man with a ring camera said a Jeep Cherokee with a man and woman stopped and walked around his property. They were from the Sublette County Assessor’s Office.

At 3:40 p.m., a woman reported vandalism.

At 3:43 p.m., a woman stopped her overheated car at a Highway 28 rest area and said there was no cell service.

At 4:07 p.m., one vehicle hit another and took off.

At 4:08 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 4:32 p.m., a detective received information from an inmate.

At 4:36 p.m., juveniles were involved in a disturbance.

At 5:41 p.m., a juvenile passenger littered and threw a coffee cup into the road; a parent was contacted.

At 6:51 p.m., an Ohio dispatcher was looking for a suicidal person whose phone pinged; he is on a cross-country bicycle ride. The man was fine.

At 8:13 p.m., a towtruck driver said someone wanted to pick up a vehicle.

At 9:41 p.m., a big piece of plywood was a traffic hazard.

At 10:35 p.m., a man hit a moose and moved his damaged Ford F150 in a pullout; his son was coming to get him.

July 1

At 8:59 a.m., about 15 cows were by and in the road.

At 9:47 a.m., a person was having a heart attack.

At 12:35 p.m., someone drove off without paying for gas.

At 1:37 p.m., Wyoming Highway Patrol asked a deputy to help a trooper with a traffic stop.

At 3:06 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 7:16 p.m., a person with diabetes was unconscious.

At 7:43 p.m., wind blew a controlled burn on Forty Rod Road out of control; Sublette County Unified Fore responded.

At 8:07 p.m., a tree split and blocked the street.

At 8:17 p.m., Rocky Mountain Power responded after a tree hit a power line.

At 8:47 p.m., a deputy contacted Rocky Mountain Power and said SCUF wasn’t needed.

At 10:53 p.m., a rude person planned to camp overnight in Ridley’s parking lot.

July 2

At 1:38 a.m., a veterans’ crisis line reported a person was suicidal. A deputy and counselor responded.

At 6:47 a.m., a tree fell across a power line.

At 7:32 a.m., a man asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 8:02 a.m., seven or eight cows were in the highway near Hoback Ranches.

At 9:43 a.m., a fuel drive-off stop resulted in a controlled substance problem.

At 10:57 a.m., a man was using his brother’s name for traffic tickets.

At 12:02 p.m., a Teton County dispatcher said a light blue Subaru crashed up Cliff Creek Road and the passengers climbed out of the sunroof.

At 12:47 p.m., a rancher said he was moving 150 cows across the highway.

At 1:40 p.m., a man found 20 goats in his yard and had no idea where they came from.

At 4:37 p.m., a man threatened with texts said the person had shut off power to his greenhouse.

At 5:39 p.m., a person who fell earlier had more pain.

At 6:25 p.m., a stray dog was bothering RV park guests; the owner picked it up.

At 6:58 p.m., a man said he paid $900 rent for a trailer but the landlady changed her mind and said he would rent the basement.

At 7:41 p.m., people who didn’t live at an apartment complex were filling the dumpsters.

At 8:26 p.m., a Teton County deputy near Granite Creek said a bull and cow were walking down the highway.

At 8:42 p.m., a confused man in pain said he needed a ride to a hospital.

At 8:56 p.m., campers were supposed to come out of the Green River Lakes but hadn’t. Tip Top Search and Rescue volunteers started looking for them on July 3 and found their car.
