Lucie Marlene Lanie” Beebe, age 78, of Bondurant, died on Jan. 4, in Jackson.
A lifelong artist who worked with pottery, pen and ink, sketching and watercolor paints, Lanie loved nature and had a great sense of humor. She designed and built unique homes for herself in Santa Fe, N.M., Startup, Wash., and Bondurant.
She graduated from Nashua High School, Colby-Sawyer College and with an art degree from UNH — all schools in New Hampshire.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Lucie Beebe of Hollis, New Hampshire, her older brother, Curt Beebe, M.D., of Santa Monica, Calif., and her husband, Edward Fiset, a nuclear physicist from Seattle. 
Lanie is survived by an older brother, Mike Beebe of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, two nieces, Lisa Law and Suki Carey, two nephews, Roger and Daniel Beebe and a sister-in-law Sandra Beebe.

Arrangements are in care of Grand Teton Funeral Home, Jackson.  A memorial service will be held in the spring, a date to be announced later.
