SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Sublette County Mosquito Abatement District No. 1 will conduct a special board meeting on at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, at the Sublette County Conservation District office at 217 Country Club Lane in Pinedale. The special meeting is called to elect positions on the district’s board of directors.
This comes weeks after it was discovered there was little oversight and no tracking or assignment of terms within the district for nearly 40 years. A recent county commissioners’ meeting shed light on the severity of the situation.
Commissioners appointed three members to the district’s board during Tuesday’s commissioners’ meeting, each serving different three-year, four-year and five-year terms.
