The Foundation 23 Community fundraising campaign is set to conclude on Sept. 23. Don’t miss this opportunity to support participating Sublette County nonprofits and have your donation go even further for our community.

Foundation 23 was created after members of the Pinedale Half Marathon committee shifted the focus of the race in 2022 to a fundraising event for the nonprofits in Sublette County. (This concept is based on Jackson Hole’s Old Bill’s Fun Run.) This new community foundation is focused on raising funds and awareness for the various nonprofits in our county.

The Pinedale Half Marathon and 10K is now the culminating event of a 3-month fundraising campaign where donations can be made to participating nonprofits and have those donations matched by the “match pool” of funds that has been raised by Foundation 23. This year’s match pool of funds is close to $40,000 and still growing. If you would like to join our pool of match donors, please call 307-231-4508.

There are multiple ways to take part in this year’s fundraising effort. You can donate to participating nonprofits at www.foundation23.org or you can participate in the Pinedale Half Marathon and 10K where $5 from every entry will go to your nonprofit of choice. The Pinedale Half Marathon and 10K takes place on Sept. 16 at Rendezvous Pointe in Pinedale. The participating nonprofits will be on hand to highlight their organizations and the work they do here in Sublette County and following the race, there will be a free community BBQ open to the public.
