Torturing animals is repulsive

Posted

Dear Editor,

There is something truly repulsive about torturing animals, whether they be wild or domestic. No abused animal ever had an attorney or an advocate, only the conscience of the humane willing to stand in their
defense. Reading about the flagrant cruelty recently done to that wolf in Sublette County by Cody Roberts gave me a heartache and made my blood boil. The lengths to which Roberts made that animal suffer should give his

entire family and community cause to question his character. What sort of human being runs an animal down on a snowmobile, gravely injuring it, tapes its mouth shut, brings it to a bar to show off, and then shoots it?
Further, it gives Wyoming, a state I love, a black eye. A good part of the world is watching to see if this man is truly brought to justice for his heinous and cowardly act.
