For kids, parents and potential leaders to learn what 4-H has to offer, Sublette County 4-H is having two open houses next week. The first is Wednesday, Oct. 4, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sublette County Extension Office, 9660 Highway 191, Pinedale. The next is Thursday, Oct. 5, 4 to 7 p.m. at Marbleton Town Hall, 10700 Highway 189, Marbleton. Check it out and enter to win door prizes!

It’s that time of year for Sublette County youth to consider how local 4-H clubs fit with their interests – raise small poultry or super steers, train your cat, learn how to work with textiles, decorate a cake, sharpen or create an image, stamp leather designs, weld metal, take aim at a target or outer space or work with wood. The 4-H year begins Oct. 1 with next summer’s Sublette County Fair as the grand finale.
