WYOMING – The Pinedale Glaciers 18U high school team traveled to Casper to play the Oilers on Saturday, Dec. 17, and Sunday, Dec. 18. The girls’ 19U team hosted the Yellowstone Yeti from Park County on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 16-17.

The Yellowstone Yeti won the first game, 7-2, posting a 6-point lead after the first two periods. Rallying in the third period, the Glaciers scored two goals and held the Yeti to a single point.
Lexi Harper shot the first goal into the net for Pinedale, assisted by Anabella Fausett and Seren Noble. Molly Murphy scored next unassisted.
Aringtyn Huffman and Kylynn Martin both played goalie, tallying 16 and 19 saves, respectively.

Fausett made a goal unassisted in the first period. The Yeti scored two goals in the second period to pull ahead.
Pinedale responded with four goals in the third period. Fausett shot the puck into the net unassisted. Cassy Miller scored a goal, assisted by Marie Noble. Murphy made a goal off a play by Fausett. Fausett rounded out the scoring for Pinedale, with a goal assisted by Harper.
Martin tallied 48 saves as goalie.

Pinedale fell to the Casper Oilers, 5-0, on Saturday. Shea Rogge stepped up as goalie and made 22 saves.
The Glaciers played a tighter game on Sunday, coming up short by only 2 points, 7-5.
The first period ended in a 2-2 stalemate. Bo Danze scored the first goal for the Glaciers, assisted by Cayden Christensen. Tyler Currah struck next with a goal assisted by Christian Sosa Sanchez.
Casper outscored Pinedale, 3-1, in the second period. Danze made the lone goal for the Glaciers off a play by Griffin Dunn.
Both teams scored 2 points in the third period. Dunn made the first goal, assisted by Yates Garcilaso-Huffman. Currah scored next, assisted by Waylon Williams.
Korvyn Powell played goalie and totaled 27 saves.
