the counter into a chair and she reacted

physically by striking a man three times in

the face, it says.

In the meantime the others were trying to

get Sandoval out of their house, the affidavit

says. The passed-out woman was “acting

crazy” so someone brought her outside.

Sandoval then backed over a barbecue

grill and drove forward and hit the woman,

knocking her down about 10 feet away, it

says.

As a man tried to pull her away, Sandoval

allegedly hit him and ran over his foot. He

was arrested and taken into custody where at

the jail he told staff he had been exposed to

COVID-19, the affidavit says.

The woman, Kerstan Willis, was arrested

for assault and public intoxication, according

to McClure.

Sandoval was being held on $20,000 cash

or surety bond with a preliminary hearing

set for Sept. 23 that will be rescheduled with

Judge Curt Haws out of town this week.

three years of supervised probation,

court record show. If Brannan is

successful with meeting all of her

probation terms, that deferred charge

would be dismissed.

Judge Marv Tyler accepted Brannan’s

guilty plea and the plea agreement at her

Sept. 17 change-of-plea and sentencing

hearing.

The judge said Brannan must fully

comply with “any and all probation

terms and conditions” and cannot be

arrested for anything or even receive a

citation “except for very minor traffic

violations.” He also ordered her to obtain

her high school equivalency certification

within 35 months and substance abuse

treatment.

Brannan must also pay $425 in fees

and reimburse Sublette County $250 for

her public defender.

home, was arrested Sept. 14 after deputies

searched the home where the woman had

taken ill and Benedik was seen throwing

an object out a window, according to an

affidavit by Detective Karson Turner.

The object was a black Nitro Surge

PreWorkout container whose contents

tested positive as psilocybin mushrooms

and one MDMA pill, both of which are

controlled substances, the affidavit says.

He told a detective he bought it in Colorado

and brought it to Wyoming, it adds.

Benedik is charged with felony delivery

of a controlled substance, MDMA,

misdemeanor possession of a controlled

substance, MDMA, and misdemeanor

possession of a controlled plant substance,

psilocybin mushrooms.

He appeared in Circuit Court on Sept.

14, had bond set at $20,000 cash or surety

and paid it to be released. His preliminary

hearing is set for Oct. 1 at 10:30 a.m.

around 3:45 p.m. while Trooper Benjamin

Kiel was on patrol and clocked Smith

driving 93 miles an hour in a 70-mph

speed zone, according to his affidavit.

Kiel said he could not see the vehicle’s

brake lights when Smith stopped and

reported they had been covered or painted

black, his affidavit says. He smelled

alcohol and arrested Smith for driving

Trooper Mitch Kannier arrived and

inventoried the vehicle, finding what he

court records.

He is charged with felony possessions

of liquid LSD, felony possession of

LSD dabs, driving under the influence

of alcohol, misdemeanor possessions of

marijuana and mushrooms and speeding

Smith appeared in Sublette County

was set at $20,000 cash or surety, which

he posted himself, records show. His
