SUBLETTE COUNTY – It’s hard to believe summer’s coming to an end and school is back in session for Big Piney this Wednesday, Aug. 24, and Pinedale next Wednesday, Aug. 31. Every year the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office fields many calls during the school year reporting drivers passing school buses. We are sharing this to remind drivers of the different places school buses could stop. A common area in Sublette County that causes confusion is in Boulder between Meadowlark and the Boulder Store. When a bus has its lights and stop signs activated ALL traffic must stop across all lanes, not just the same side as the bus.
