Obituary: Carrol ‘Mac’ Dale McIntosh

Carrol “Mac” Dale McIntosh went home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023, at the age of 89 with his family by his side.

He is survived by wife Rachel Henske McIntosh of Redmond, Ore.; daughter Gayle McIntosh Kezele and husband Nick of Redmond; son Michael McIntosh and wife Joanna Elam McIntosh of Redmond; grandchildren Joshua Kezele and wife Sarah and children Evelyn and Ethan of Ft Leavenworth, Kan.; Janelle McIntosh Umpleby and  husband Andrew and children Daisy and Hattie of Prosser, Wash.; Jacob McIntosh and wife Sara and their children Kinsly and Avery of Redmond; James McIntosh and wife Ashley and soon to be seventh great-grandchild of Redmond. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Milton Ralph (Mike); father, Arthur Andrew; mother, Grace Alice; and sister, Mary Lu.

He was born in Boulder, Wyo., on May 5, 1934. 
Mac attended Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho, where he graduated in May 1957 with a bachelor’s degree in education and theology. 
He moved to Oregon where he met his wife, taught school for 37 years, pastored various churches and was an active member in his respective communities. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Highland Baptist Church, Redmond, Ore., on June 17 at 1 p.m.

Inurnment will take place at the Boulder Cemetery in Boulder, Wyo.

Memorial gifts can be given to Partners in Care, Bend, Ore.

A potluck/barbeque is planned at 5 p.m. also June 17 honoring him and good friend Lefty Penhollow at the Lazy M Ranch, 7597 NE 1st St, Redmond, Ore., near Terrebonne. Please bring a salad, side dish or dessert; meat and beverages provided.
