SUBLETTE COUNTY – Due to an unexpected family death, the Aug. 8 oral arguments among attorneys for Sublette County, Jackson Fork Ranch owner Joe Ricketts and Bondurant citizens set for Aug. 25 will be rescheduled again.
After the citizens’ attorney Jim Lubing requested the date change from Aug. 8 to Aug. 25, presiding 9th District Court Judge Melissa Owens of Jackson approved the new date. The civil case petitions county commissioners’ approval of Ricketts’ zoning change to allow a resort on the Upper Hoback Road near Bondurant. Judge Owens then assigned the lawsuit to 1st District Court Judge Steven K. Sharpe.
The Aug. 25 hearing was vacated and Judge Sharpe will schedule an oral arguments hearing. The case is still presided over by the 9th District Clerk of Court Office.
