PINEDALE – Little Wrangler Day Campers spent the last couple weeks with visiting artist Cristy Anspach thanks to a Community Support Grant from the Wyoming Arts Council.
Campers learned a variety of art techniques and created fun paintings about their summer activities. A sampling of these artworks will be photographed and featured on a series of custom sound baffles that will be installed in the PAC gymnasium.
The baffles will dampen sound and provide decoration for a much-used facility. The students’ art will also be shared with seniors at Rendezvous Pointe and the Sublette Center and will be displayed during an upcoming recreation-themed art show at the Pinedale Library in February.
The Little Wrangler Day Camp Art Enhancement Program is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Wyoming Legislature.
Friends of the PAC ensures supplemental funding and community engagement for ongoing recreational services and facilities in support of the PAC. Find more information at www.welovepac.com and on Facebook at FriendsofPac.
