PINEDALE – New bike and skateboard repair stations have been installed at the Sublette County Library!
The new repair station was funded by a grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation. It will enhance Sublette County Library's existing practice of loaning tools to our community members. With the Skateboard Park being located across the street, we have been the “go to” spot for borrowing tools for repairs of skateboards, scooters and bicycles.
We are also located directly on the Great Divide Bike route, with up to 2,000 riders a year passing through our little town. Many of them drop in at the library to use the restrooms and Internet. The newly installed bike repair stand is going to prove handy for them as well.
The repair stands will hold the skateboards and bikes for our youngsters as they work on them. The high security of these tools – they are anchored with cables – will also make them available 24/7.
