PINEDALE – The Lady Wrangler soccer team put up a determined battle through the final moments of the season-ending games against Lyman on Friday, May 13, and Mountain View on Saturday.

Pinedale kept Lyman on its toes on Friday, playing tenacious defense and offense. The Eagles slipped in a goal in the first half, followed by another in the second half to score a 2-0 victory.

On Saturday, the Lady Wranglers squared off against Mountain View, the No. 3 seed in the 3A West Conference. The Buffaloes secured the win, 8-0.

“We played well against Mountain View,” said head coach Shanda Jensen. “The girls have worked really hard this season and it was starting to show.”

Friday featured senior recognition with the team honoring the contributions of Hailee Henry, Alena Mika and Emmaline Vrska.
