G&F plans season-setting meetings in Pinedale, Jackson
PINEDALE - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department welcomes the public to a series of upcoming public meetings to discuss the current status of wildlife populations and proposed fall 2023 hunting seasons in the Jackson and Pinedale regions. This year, prior to the regular season-setting meetings, there will be an information-sharing meeting in Etna specific to the Wyoming Range mule deer herd. Topics planned for discussion include herd population data and trends, hunter harvest surveys, habitat projects, and impacts to the population including predation. The meeting will include presentations with time for questions and discussion.
