Des has been a part of our MESA program since its inception nearly 10 years ago. She has been a dedicated lesson volunteer from Day One, volunteering several hours a week. Later, we convinced her to be on our board of directors. Since then, she is very involved assisting with volunteer, participant and board recruitment, helps with all of our fundraising activities and events, provides lesson horses, does all of our payroll and is acting MESA board treasurer. MESA wouldn't be the success it is today without Des! We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for all that Des has done for us!
