On March 16, Ernest A. Farmer, Jr. left this world to re-join the love of his life, Ethelyn.
Ernie was born June 13, 1924, in Forney, Texas to Ernest and Stella Farmer. In 1948, after serving in the Army, he came to Wyoming to work on a survey crew. He married Ethelyn Fordyce in October of that year. He later went to work for Mountain Fuel Supply Company, retiring in 1986. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time in Pinedale with his family and friends.
Ernie was proceeded in death by Ethelyn, parents Ernest and Stella, siblings Glendon, Betty, Bobbie and Dick, and one grandson Jacob.
Survivors include his children Mike (Brenda) Farmer, Dick (Terrie) Farmer and their children Ashley and Tike, Steve (Peggi) Farmer and children Steve and Cody, and Sandy (Dal) Tuft and children Jerry Jeff and Ozzie. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Alaura Tuft, Gracie, Sophia, Frannie and Mable Tuft, Quentin Farmer and Presley Farmer.
Ernie will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Graveside services will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the Pinedale Cemetery.
