Record in hand, Trujillo and team head to State

Darren Ginest won the 200-meter individual medley at the “last chance” meet in Kemmerer last week. While he didn’t qualify in this event, he did add the 100-yard backstroke to his list of possible State events.

PINEDALE – Sublette County swimmers are in Gillette today in the first day of the state meet. The team is taking 11 swimmers, including nine who qualified for at least one individual event – Big Piney High School (BPHS) senior Brent Jones and sophomore Sam Jones are going as relay alternates. The meet runs through today and into the weekend, and times, marks and other results will be available on the Wyoming High School Activities Association website, www.whsaa.org.
