One of the reasons my husband and I made the choice to move to Big Piney eight years ago was the great doctors and health care we found in Big Piney, including Dr. Bobís vet care. We traveled here to meet the doctors and the vet before making the decision that has changed our life for the best.
Since moving to this community, we have seen many doctors come and go at the Mableton clinic who were caring, lovely people who involved themselves with not just the patient but the person they were treating. To say the least, we were extremely upset to see Dr. Deborah Brackett leave our town for reasons that could have been worked out in a better fashion.
Dr. Brackett was one of the most caring, loving doctors in my long life that I have met (I have had a lot of doctors in my long lifetime), but after she left, we decided to start looking around out-of-town for a doctor, something my husband and I did not want to do as we feel we should spend our money in our own community.
Dr. Brackett is part of that wonderful community we live in and got involved with the food bank, as well as many other projects, and mostly I just want to say thank you to the RHCD for asking her back and that this decision brought back my faith once again in our decision to leave the fast pace life behind us.
Now I am off to have my hot tea, looking out at deer roaming and watching the beautiful wildlife out our front window. Life is back on track now we donít have to worry about our health once again or at least for three more years.
Welcome home Dr. Deborah Brackett, and bless you for returning to Big Piney.
