It is the first of the year, and it has been about two months since we voted for the candidates of our choice for local and national offices. It is a good time to reflect on how we conducted ourselves during this activity.
One of the candidates for school board had their campaign signs defaced just before the election. The Prevention Coalition deplores this activity as an attempt to bully the candidate and publicly humiliate them. We encourage all citizens to discuss this assault on the democratic process and take a stand to end bullying in our community.
