PINEDALE – Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) officials estimate the agency requires an additional $134.5 million a year merely to maintain the state’s highway system. This cost simply covers keeping up with deterioration – wear and tear caused by traffic − and does not include the costs of any new construction or projects.
