Beatrice Fogleman, 89, a resident of Gila, N.M. was received into Jesusí arms Dec. 1 at Gila Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 1, 1923 in Grassbur, Texas to Eli Foster and Gracie Mae Matthews.
She is survived by four daughters, Sue Sloan of Evanston, Marilyn Fogleman of Gila, Connie Gurney and husband Joe of Cortez, N.M. and Jolynne Haworth of Rock Springs. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Randy Wilder, Britt and Richard Sloan, Marc Gurney, Mara Baxstrom, Kristen Bishop and Brian, Luke, Jessee and Sarah Haworth; 18 great-grandchildren; one great, great-grandchild; one brother, James Foster; two sisters, Dorothy Polly of North Fork, Calif.; Eleanor Morris and husband Gary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Ralph Eugene Fogleman; one son, Kelly Dean Fogleman; one brother, Virgil Foster; four sisters, Norma Atkins, Betty Cobb, Yvonne Bolton and Janice Hoskins; and one grandchild Scott Wilder.
The viewing was Thursday at Gila Valley Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest at East Hill cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas on Dec. 10. Pallbearers will be Marvin Kartchner, John Cooper, Randy Wilder, Britt and Richard Sloan and Luke Haworth. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Woodrow.
