Support lodging, support Pinedale

I am writing to encourage all the citizens of Pinedale to support the lodging tax, in the upcoming election.

As I travel the Cowboy State, I see firsthand what a true boost the small addition to lodging rates provide for local communities. All our communities have some of the “best-kept secrets” we can share with tourist. Pinedale has so much to offer our visitors; you just have to tell your story.

The income from the lodging tax will help Pinedale promote the community and surrounding area.

The lodging tax is a tax you don’t have to pay. It is collected from a small, added charge for visitor lodging. I know of no community that has initiated the lodging tax that has had any negative reaction from tourists.

I urge you to join the other successful communities across Wyoming and vote yes for the Pinedale lodging tax.
