I was so sorry to hear about the death of former Sublette County Sheriff Wayne “Bardy” Bardin. Bardy was a great guy and an outstanding sheriff in every way. He was always fair and honest with the Roundup when I was editor, a soft-spoken but excellent communicator. His office door was always open to me, and we had many important and valuable personal and professional conversations. Bardy was without doubt my favorite sheriff over my 32 years as a journalist across the country. My prayers and condolences to Bardy’s family and his many, many friends.
