Once again our nation’s voters have spoken, and we know for sure that more mules prefer riding on the wagon than helping to pull it. Slowly but surely, we are unwinding all of the engines of business, entrepreneurship and our freedoms. Also, we are probably losing God’s blessings at the same time.
If you have friends who think socialism might work better; encourage them to drive through the nearest Indian reservation or a slum area of a large city. Some families have been on the government dole for six to eight generations, unable or unwilling to break the mold. Still, our government keeps on doing the same old thing hoping that somehow the results will suddenly be different.
The only way to change anyone’s behavior is to first change their beliefs. This applies to Muslim extremists, our own governing officials and those who are unnecessarily riding on the wagon.
I hear-tell our president once said “never pass up an opportunity to take advantage of a crisis.” I wonder what he meant by that?
