INEDALE – Former Pinedale High School student Devan LaMere has qualified to compete on the Intermountain Division (IMD) alpine ski team at the 2013 Western Region Championships, also known as the Junior Olympics, to be held at Alyeska, Alaska March 19–23. LaMere will ski the slalom, giant slalom and super G. The Intermountain Division is one of five divisions in the West and consists of athletes from Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. The team will be competing against the four other divisions of the Western Region, which includes athletes from Montana, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii. There are three regions in the U.S., including the Western, Rocky/Central and Eastern regions.
