Alpine races run giant slalom at home

Anatomy of a fall: Several skiers fell on the challenging slope of White Pine’s Fremont run.

PINEDALE – Last weekend, the Pinedale High School alpine ski team was able to race on home snow for the first time since 2011. The White Pine Invitational, held Friday and Saturday, drew 125 racers from across the state for a two-run giant slalom race.
