Punchers head into Regionals with No. 2 seed

BIG PINEY – In back-to-back away games, the Big Piney High School Punchers faced two top basketball teams, Wyoming Indian and Wind River high schools. Wyoming Indian is the top seed in the conference, and they continued to prove that, beating Big Piney 73-47 last Friday. Given that loss, the Punchers were in a must-win situation to secure their No. 2 seed at Regionals. The team had beaten Wind River in the previous match-up, but nothing was guaranteed.
