Misty Collinsworth, 34, passed away Friday, July 25, in Green River. She was born Jan. 17, 1980, in Evanston, the daughter of Larry Tavegia and the late Julie Ann Aragon Tavegia.
She was raised in Vernal, Utah, and was a homemaker. She went to sleep and traveled over the rainbow for her next great adventure. She enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, playing in the river and cooking. She also enjoyed taking care of at-risk youth and being with her daughters and family.
She is survived by daughters Aspen Kirian and Kahlen Ann Collinsworth; sisters Christy Ann Reed (Misty's womb mate), Lacy Lee Tavegia and Tanya Lynn Martin; father Larry Tavegia; grandmother Dorothy Aragon; nephews Jesse and Ethan Rogers and Austin, Christopher and Quinn Macy; niece Julie Ann Reed and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by mother; Julie Ann Tavegia; and grandparents Pete Aragon and Mark and Marjorie Zupan.
Traditional Indian funeral services were held Aug. 1 at Rocky Mountain Hall with Arlen Shoyo officiating. An evening service and wake was held July 31 at the Dorothy Aragon residence. Interment will be in the Aragon Family Cemetery in Kinnear.
