Charles Davis
Posted: Thursday, Jul 12th, 2012
“Old Time Cowboy” Charles R. Davis passed away June 9. Also known as “Charlie Brown,” he was 84 at the time of his accident. Two hundred Patagonia, Ariz. residents attended Charlie’s funeral. He was as loved there as he was in his former “hometown” of Bondurant.
Margie, his wife, just beamed as she spoke about Charlie. She shared that he had “cowboy-ed” all over Sublette County. He worked the Little Jenny Ranch for many years and had worked for the Millers, Fears and at Pfisterers. Charlie was also a pretty handy carpenter. “He never met a stranger and loved everyone as they loved him.”
Charles’ ashes were spread above Bondurant, where he spent so much of his time riding the Hoback. He is survived by his wife Margie Buyer and family. If you would like to share your remembrances of Charlie with his family, you can call Margie at (520) 394-2021.
