Juanita Hill

Juanita Gail Hill, 61, of Rock Springs, passed away on June 19, at her home. A long time resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Gurdon, Ark., she died following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Juanita was born on Oct. 16, 1950 in Roswell, N.M., the daughter of Robert F. and E. Jean Hodges Ross. She attended schools in Gurdon. She married Les L. Hill on Sept. 23, 1972 in Evanston.
Juanita was employed at Ted’s Supper Club as a waitress for 25 years and left in January 2011. She ran the Holiday Craft Fair for 32 years. She also loved to fish and spend time outdoors with her family.
Survivors include her husband Les L. Hill of Rock Springs; her mother Emma Jean Ross of Lander; one son, Robert Duane Hill and wife Linett Holly of Huntsville, Ala.; one daughter, Jennifer Denise Hill of Denver, Colo.; one brother, Robert Dean Ross and wife Jean Ross of Aiken, S.C.; brother-in-law Doug Hill and wife Linda of Morton; two grandchildren, Carson Shelby and Kennedy Nicole Holub; two nieces, Cheri Wells and husband David of Bozeman, Mont. and Nacona Hengen and husband Aaron of Boulder; two nephews Jared Ross of Aiken and Cody Hill and wife Kristy of Fontanelle; great-nieces Camrynn and Alanna Wells of Bozeman; great-nephews R. Hawk Ross of Aiken and Tracer Hengen of Boulder; eighteen cousins; one aunt and one uncle.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Francis Ross.
Cremation will take place and memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Mount of Olives Lutheran Church, located at 2916 Foothill Dr. in Rock Springs. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
