Delaine Stewart

Delaine Ricks Stewart, 70, passed away peacefully in her home on June 10 after a short battle with cancer.

Delaine was born on Feb. 17, 1942 to Earl and Opal Ricks in Rigby, Idaho.

On Sept. 1, 1960 she married the love of her life and eternal companion Raynald Stewart. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls temple.

During her life, she touched many hearts and lives in both Idaho and Big Piney.

Delaine has five children, 28 grandchildren and 10 grandchildren.

Delaine was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and magnified many callings including an LDS mission to Sydney, Australia and served in both the Boise, Idaho temple and the Twin Falls, Idaho temple for many years.

She loved playing games, fishing, crochet, reading and her family. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held today in Burley, Idaho.
