Louise Marx, 88, of Green River, passed away on May 23 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. A longtime resident of Big Piney and former resident of Riverton, Mrs. Marx passed away following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Dec. 28, 1923 in Big Piney, the seventh daughter of the late Ray Daniels and Nettie Lewis.
She married Eldon Marx, Sr. on April 12, 1941 in Randolph, Utah, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1991.
Her interests included crocheting, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include son, Ed Marx and wife Corky; grandchildren, John, Jamie and Jarrod; six great-grandsons, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six sisters and six brothers.
Cremation has taken place at the Vase White Mountain Crematory and graveside services and inurnment at the Big Piney Cemetery.
