PINEDALE – If the House and Senate fail to agree on a government funding bill by Sept. 30, the government will implement a partial shutdown. Until the bill is signed, the federal government will no longer have the authority to spend money, which is crucial to all things, especially running a government. House Republicans want to defund the Affordable Care Act in exchange for signing onto a continuing resolution, but the Democrats in the Senate are not having it.
