Feeding deer is killing deer

Feeding mule deer does not help them survive past winter when they need to return to forage in the hills.

PINEDALE –­­­ It happens a lot in Sublette County; residents see mule deer struggling through the winter and assume putting supplemental feed on their lawns or property will help the ungulates make it to spring. This is completely false.
