Bridger-Teton and Caribou-Targhee consider merger

PINEDALE – On Oct. 30, Regional Forester Harv Forsgren, who is retiring in January, sent a letter to Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF) Supervisor Jacque Buchanan and Caribou-Targhee National Forest (CTNF) Supervisor Brent Larson asking for a proposal on merging the two forests with one supervisor in one office in hopes of reducing administrative costs.
