SCSO responds to Wednesday suicide

A 74-year old Jackson man was found to have committed suicide near the North Fork of Fisherman Creek, located south of Bondurant Wednesday.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) received a call around noon on Wednesday after a Wyoming Game and Fish Department warden found the deceased man, identified as Daniel A. Maddox, said SCSO Public Information Officer Steve Smith. SCSO deputies and investigators responded to the scene, Smith said. Investigators determined the cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
