WHITETOP OR HOARY CRESS

Whitetop is the first noxious weed to emerge and bloom in the spring in Sublette County.  It has creamy white, 4-petaled flowers in dense clusters on top of a 1-2 foot stem.  The leaves are arrowhead shaped at the base and wrap around the stem.  Whitetop has aggressive deep roots, with numerous plants coming off the same root system.
