The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 132 calls from Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, including 5 citizen assists, 2 search and rescues, 2 possible heart attacks, 3 livestock problems, a juvenile problems, 3 suspicious incidents, a theft, 8 sets of fingerprints, 32 urinalyses and 16 vehicle identification number inspections.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 132 calls from Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, including 5 citizen assists, 2 search and rescues, 2 possible heart attacks, 3 livestock problems, a juvenile problems, 3 suspicious incidents, a theft, 8 sets of fingerprints, 32 urinalyses and 16 vehicle identification number inspections.

Feb. 19

At 6:38 a.m., a white jeep passing vehicles on Highway 28 towards Farson caused a semi truck to dive off the road near milepost 26.

At 7:30 a.m., a police escort was requested for a funeral procession in Big Piney.

At 1 p.m., a search and rescue operation was launched after a family on a UTV ride from Dubois ran out of gas on Union Pass and requested emergency services from an Apple device via satellite.
At 4:41 p.m., a couple of vehicles slid off the road.

At 5:57 p.m., a deputy requested a patient assist.

At 5:59 p.m., a person was arrested for a DUI

At 7:06 p.m., a deputy received information for an active investigation.

At 11:00 p.m., a missing person was reported. The young adult was located safe and returned to family members.

Feb. 20

At 1:22 a.m., a search and rescue was requested.

At 7:02 a.m., a property was requested.

At 7:04 a.m., a property watch was requested.

At 11:01 a.m., a black angus cow with a really swollen ankle inside a fence on Noble Road in Cora could not walk.

At 11:53 a.m., a welfare check was requested on a person eating a sandwich while parked at a gas pump.

At 12:04 p.m., an animal program involving a dog versus cat was reported.

At 12:53 p.m., a citizen requested assistance with a person being drunk and disruptive to other tenants.

At 1:20 p.m., a black steer with a yellow ear tag appeared to be starving.

At 1:22 p.m., a prisoner was transported to Sweetwater County.

At 3:40 p.m., the Department of Family Services requested agency assistance.

At 4:04 p.m., a probation violation was reported.

At 4:24 p.m., a search warrant was issued.

At 4:38 p..m., someone hit a deer and a deputy was clearing the carcass from the highway.

At 9:50 p.m., a structure fire was reported. The fire resulted in a total loss to the structure on Spence Lane.

Feb. 21

At 9:24 a.m., two adult female prisoners were transported to the Pinedale Clinic.

At 10:07 a.m., a deputy took an information report related to an active juvenile problem.

At 10:55 a.m., a welfare check was conducted.

At 12:10 p.m., a structure fire was reported on Dell Creek. The fire resulted in a complete loss of the structure.

At 12:49 p.m., a prisoner was transported.

At 1:36 p.m., a motor vehicle crash was reported.

At 5:03 p.m., staff at the Marbleton Clinic reported a vicious animal.

At 6:07 p.m., an activated burglary alarm was unfounded.

Feb. 22

At 1:25 a.m., a person was experiencing pain all over.

At 4:55 a.m. a person was experiencing pain and itchiness.

At 8:31 a.m., a possible heart attack was reported.

At 12:22 p.m., information was received related to an active juvenile problem.

At 1:06 p.m., a person reported that an unknown subject was using her address to attempt to apply for a car loan.

At 3:28 p.m., a structure fire in Daniel/Merna was reported. The fire resulted in a total loss of the structure.

At 4:18 p.m., juveniles were throwing and banging things around, possibly vandalizing the Encana Shelter. The call was unfounded. There was no damage or vandalism discovered.

At 4:24 p.m., a probation violation was reported and an arrest was made.

At 8:24 p.m., a blue/grey Toyota SUV with county 23 plates tried to hit another drive and run them off the road.

Feb. 23

At 8:23 a.m., the Department of Family Services reported someone writing unauthorized checks.

At 12:24 p.m., a citizen requested assistance related to an ongoing investigation.

At 12:47 p.m., a property watch was requested.

At 2:59 p.m., stray cats were reported as an animal problem.

At 3:43 p.m, an activated burglar alarm was unfounded. It was accidentally pushed during a training.

At 6:52 p.m., a dead deer in the road south of Pinedale was reported to Game and Fish.

At 8:45 p.m., a 911 call was considered suspicious.

At 10:50 p.m., a person reported she had found two missing dogs.

Feb. 24

At 10:17 a.m., a tenant’s landlord notified him that his 72 hour eviction notice had expired.

At 10:42 a.m., a motorist assist was requested.

At 11:28 a.m, a person was walking by the airport in Big Piney when he noticed the shop’s door wide open and the building unattended.

At 12:18 p.m., a traffic stop of a white Chevy truck with Washington plates was attempted but the driver of the vehicle refused to pull over.

At 12:42 p.m., a theft was reported.

At 12:48 p.m., a motorist requested assistance.

At 12:56 p.m., ranchers were moving cattle near Daniel Junction and requested assistance.

At 1:02 p.m., a suspected natural gas leak was unfounded.

At 1:29 p.m., a person was having back and chest pains.

At 2:13 p.m., a 2022 grey or silver Dodge pickup was swerving all over the road.

At 2:24 p.m., someone left a cat behind.

At 4:47 p.m., a person hit another.

At 5:34 p.m., friends out walking were hit with snowballs.

At 6:31 p.m., a sick person’s leg was turning red.

At 6:45 p.m., a welfare check was requested.

At 6:57 p.m., a person who had been sick for a few days was very nauseous.

At 8:51 p.m., a person who was crying asked to come to Pinedale to meet with a deputy about a domestic issue.

At 10:28 p.m., a neighbor was making a lot of noise and stomping around.

Feb. 25

At 1:10 a.m., a local bar reported a person was looking for a fight.

At 8:41 a.m., a front door alarm was unfounded.

At 9:44 a.m., a person was having a seizure.

At 1:08 p.m., a civil standby was requested.

At 4:07 p.m., a person as having a medical emergency after ingesting hazardous materials.

At 4:39 p.m., a person reported pain from a recent tumor removal.

At 7:30 p.m., a person was trespassing.
